Beginner Chess Class

Class capped at 20 students (we will have a waitlist if enrollment is met)
This fun class is designed and paced, especially for beginners and younger players. Students will learn the rules of chess quickly by playing a series of simplified games, which gradually introduce more complex elements and ideas. With the fundamentals established, students will play lots of chess and practice various tactics, including all essential checkmate patterns. Students will complete this class with a firm grasp of the rules of chess, opening principles, and basic endgames. Emphasis will be placed on critical thinking, problem-solving, and fun!
Experienced Chess Class

*Suggested ages 1st Grade+ with experience playing chess
$275 (5 classes)
Class capped at 20 students (we will have a waitlist if enrollment is met)
Come play the Royal Game! More experienced chess players are welcome in this class, where we will learn and build on their chess skills by playing fun mini-games and enjoying action-packed training. Students will learn the all-important checkmating patterns, review great games in chess history, and play a lot of chess. Emphasis will be placed on critical thinking, problem-solving, and fun!
